the executive team to fulfill the company’s IP goals.

IP Due Diligence:  For buyers, we will conduct investor/purchaser side due diligence on the IP assets
held by a prospective target.  For sellers, we will help them maximize the value of their IP Assets and
assist them presenting the company’s overall IP picture in the best possible light.

IP Audit & Governance:  We will review and catalog your IP Assets, assist you in developing a plan for
these assets, and establish a corporate governance structure for your IP Assets.

IP “Pennysaver” Budgeting:  We will align your corporate IP strategy and IP budget so as to obtain the
best collection of IP assets at the lowest possible price.  We will identify unnecessary expenses and
develop a plan for eliminating them.

IP Asset Development:  We can help you identify your IP assets and take the legal measures needed to
develop and protect them.  We can draft patents, develop trade secret protection programs, and help you
protect your other IP Assets.

Business-to-Business IP Services

For those IP professionals and others who provide IP services to the technology companies and the
general public, Avancept’s business-to-business service offerings include the following:

IP Business Advisory Services:  We can help you develop your IP business model and service offerings.  
We can help you expand your service offerings, and we can assist you with appropriate IP service
brandings and corporate metaphors to help tailor the look of your IP services and enhance your firm’s or
consultancy’s competitive advantage.  Avancept prefers to provide this service on a long-tail revenue
share basis.

White Label Services:  We are pleased to operate as a virtual staff member in your business and provide
IP services directly to end-user customers, subject to the limits of various bar association ethics
limitations.  We can provide any of the services listed above under our IP Asset Services, as well as
many others.  Avancept is amenable to providing these services in accordance with a variety of business
